Bestimmungen der Unterkunft sowie Stornierungsbedingungen:
CHECK-INS ARE NOT ALLOWED AFTER 22:00 IN THE NIGHT: Please call or email the reception on +351 932 560 966 before this time has expired to guarantee a late check-in due to delays.

Cancellations or changes to your booking must be made by direct phone call or by direct email.

Cancellations, Changes & Deposits

– All Reservations are confirmed with a 50% deposit charged to the supplied valid credit card details or via PayPal deposit.
– The 50% deposit is fully refundable up until 10 days (240 hrs) of your planned arrival. After this time has expired, deposit is non-refundable.

– Changing the arrival/departure date ( maximum +/- 3 days only ) within 10 days of arrival: 100% value of the first night of your reservation will be charged as a fee.
– In the event of a “No-Show“ the remainder of your reservation will be cancelled automatically and the full amount for the booking will be charged to your credit card.
– There are no refunds offered when requesting an earlier check-out date after you have already checked-in.
– There are no refunds on any unused activities that are included in your package. Injury or sickness are the responsibility of each guest which can be handled with good travel insurance.

These conditions on this page shall be deemed invalid, if they been outdated by new updates, although every reasonable effort is made to present current and accurate information, we make no guarantees of any kind.

Force majeure:
We cannot accept any liability where the booking could not be fulfilled due to circumstances which we could not, even with due care, have foreseen or avoided. Such events may include, but are not limited to, war, threat of war, civil commotion or strife, hostilities, natural disaster, fire, act of god, terrorist activities, technical problems with transportation, flight cancellations, closures of airports, ports and/or ferries, quarantine, epidemics, weather conditions, government action or other events outside our control.

Other:
The Salty Pelican Surf & Yoga Retreat reserves the right to modify its rates for economic purposes, such as fluctuations in currency, inflation, or an increase in supplier costs. Any changes in rates will not affect bookings that have already been confirmed by The Salty Pelican Surf & Yoga Retreat. In the event that The Salty Pelican Surf & Yoga Retreat, under exceptional circumstances, is unable to provide the guest with the agreed rooms on arrival, The Salty Pelican Surf & Yoga Retreat will provide a room of equal or superior quality at no extra charge. This shall be done with the permission of the guest.

Tourism tax:
The city tourism tax is €1 per guest per day up until 7 nights total. This amount will not be added to your invoice until you pay your remaining balance at check-in.

Check-in / Check-out:
Earliest check-in time: 2:00 pm – 22:00 pm
Latest check-out time: 11:00 am

Security cards:
Upon check-in guests will receive a room key card for access to both the property and their room. Key cards must be handed back to reception on check-out. Failure to return the key will result in a €5 charge added to your invoice at check-out.

Personal property:
Guests may use secure lockers, however it remains the guest’s responsibility to ensure that their personal belongings are secure at all times. The Salty Pelican Surf & Yoga Retreat accepts no liability for the loss, theft or damage to property however sustained or caused.

Age restriction:
Bookings usually cannot be accepted from any person under the age of 16. However, under special request we may be able to accommodate children depending on the season and property capacity. Children under 16 may only sleep in the same room as the parent and can only be in private room accommodation. We reserve the right to refuse any booking, if you arrive with young children with no prior consent.

Guest behavior:
The comfort, safety and security of our guests is of paramount importance to The Salty Pelican Surf & Yoga Retreat. Any guest(s) who, in the opinion of our staff, compromise the comfort, safety or security of other guests or any staff – will be requested to leave the retreats premises and will only be offered a refund at our discretion. Guests are expected to respect other guests, staff and property. In the case of groups, the group leaders must ensure that all members of their group behave in an acceptable manner and follow local laws. Failure of any individual group member to do so will result in the expulsion of the whole group and loss of deposits.

Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside our building, bedrooms or dormitories. We do however provide our guests with the exclusive use of our outdoor patio, garden and balconies, where smoking is permitted and ash trays are provided. Any guest found smoking within the building will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will not be offered a refund.

Pets:
We love pets, but due to the communal atmosphere they cannot be allowed at our property.

Discretion:
All bookings are subject to availability and The Salty Pelican Surf & Yoga Retreat reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking at its discretion.
