1. Services
Hooked Cabarete offers accommodation, airport transfer, scooter rental, hammock rental and excursions. Other activities and courses like kitesurfing and surfing are offered together with partners. Although Hooked Cabarete looks after the quality of these activities, it cannot be held responsible for these activities and courses.

2. Responsibility
Hooked Cabarete cannot be held responsible for anything that happens inside or outside the property of Hooked Cabarete.

3. Pets
It is not allowed to bring pets to Hooked Cabarete.

4. Children
Hooked Cabarete is suited for families with children. For children until 2 years old, the extra fee per child is 5 euro / US$ 6.50 per night. For children from 2 to 4 years old it is 6 euro / US$ 8 per child and for children above 4 it is the normal rate.

5. Location
Hooked Cabarete is located a few minutes walk from the beach Encuentro and a 5 – 10 minute drive from the center of Cabarete.

6. Payment
Payments of reservations have to be paid in advance, ultimately 14 days after receiving the invoice. In case the arrival date is within 14 days, the guest has to pay within 7 days and at least before the arrival date.

Payments in advance:
Payments can be made in Euro or in US dollar. For payments in euro, the guest has to transfer the money to the Dutch Bank account of Hooked Cabarete. This is without costs (except for additional costs the guests bank might charge, which is for people from Europe normally nothing or very little). For payments in US dollars, the guest hast the option to make a wire transfer to the dollar account of Hooked Cabarete in the USA (additional costs are US$ 12, excluding the costs which the bank of the guest will charge), to pay with credit card (additional costs are 4%, for this we use paypal) or to deposit the money directly into the dollar account at a physical office of the Bank of America (which is without costs).

Payments of for example additional services of Hooked Cabarete have to be paid in cash in US dollars or in Euro’s. It is also possible to pay in Dominican peso’s. Hooked Cabarete uses the sales rate to calculate the amount in peso.

7. Cancellation
If your cancellations is received at least 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival date we will give you a full refund of the amount paid.

If you cancel less than 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival date we will charge a cancellation fee of 30% of the invoiced amount. The balance (if any) will be refunded

If you are a „No Show“, we will not be able to provide a refund.

If you cancel a booking made 2 weeks or less prior to your arrival (last minute reservation), you will be changed a cancellation fee of 50% of the total invoice amount. The balance (if any) will be refunded

„Last minute reservations“ No shows will not receive any refund.

Early departure refunds will be discussed on site.

A deposit equal to 30% of the total invoice amount is required at the time of booking to confirm a reservation.

We will confirm receipt of the deposit by email.

For reservations made within 2 weeks prior to arrival „last minute reservations“ we require full payment at the time of booking.

8. Changing the booking to another name
It is possible to change the booking to somebody else. The costs for this are 10 euro / US$ 13.

9. Complaints
Hooked Cabarete does everything in its power to make sure the guests have a great vacation. In case somebody has a complaint and mentions this to the manager during their stay, we will do everything we can to solve this matter, although we can never guarantee that we give money back.

10. Place of jurisdiction
The place of jurisdiction is the Dominican Republic.
